Enjoy it, and stay in balance
Our games cost nothing and run on virtual credits, yet any game can eat up more time than you planned. These pointers help you keep control.

The nature of these games
IoT Arabi offers free social games to adults who are 18 or older and in the UK. You cannot play for real money, make deposits or withdrawals, or win prizes. The credits are virtual and carry no cash value. Success in a free game says nothing about how you would fare gambling for real money, and these games do not show you how to beat it.
Habits for healthy play
- Set a time limit up front. Settle on how long to play before you begin. The visit timer in the footer tracks your time on the site, and a gentle reminder appears every 30 minutes.
- Pause often. Get up, stretch your legs, have a glass of water and rest your eyes on something in the distance.
- Play because it is enjoyable. When stress, loneliness or a low mood is what drives you to play, speak with someone you trust.
- Put real life ahead of games. Sleep, work, study, family and friends matter more than any game.
- Never try to claw back losses. Playing in order to “win something back”, whether in a free game or anywhere else, is a cue to stop.
- Make use of your device. Phones, tablets and computers include screen-time limits that you can switch on.
Warning signs to look out for
- You regularly play beyond the time you set, or struggle to stop.
- You become edgy or short-tempered when you cannot play.
- Gaming is hurting your sleep, work, studies or relationships.
- The way games make you feel is pushing you towards real-money gambling, or towards spending money you cannot afford to lose.
- You keep the amount of time you play secret from those close to you.
Want a pause, or want out? Head to Support and pick “Take a break”, “Restrict my account” or “Delete my account”. Alternatively, you can remove your account yourself, immediately, from My account. Simply closing the tab is fine too, because we will never pursue you with offers.
